This method is extremely effective for modern carp fishing at commercial fisheries.
A floating device attached to the bottom of the cage replaces the lead weight. It features a small opening closed by a plug, by which you can balance the body with shot so that it will sink slowly or quickly. The cage floats if no lead is added.
